How to use
Before preparing your matcha, the broom should be placed in water with the struts facing downwards for about one minute. This softens the bamboo struts and prevents them from breaking when stirring the matcha tea.
To prepare the tea, the broom is ideally moved in a Z-shape. This allows the matcha powder and water to combine optimally. Handle the delicate broom gently and with care. The faster you make the Z movement, the frothier your tea will be.
Care
Clean the Matcha Broom with water only after each use. It is best to use your fingers to carefully remove the Matcha from the broom. In addition, it is recommended to perform the Z-movement with the broom again for cleaning - this time without matcha powder. Rinse the broom again carefully and hang it up to dry with the struts facing downwards so that the water can drain off.
